IR-luminescence of ytterbium ions in complexes with β-fluorodiketones

Description
Spectral luminescent properties of Yb complexes with phenyl and α-thienyl acetylacetone derivatives characterized by a different chain length and structure of fluorinated radical (RF) with or without heteroatom of O are investigated. β-diketones comprising Rf=C6F13 and C8F17 are synthesized for the first time. pKα of β-diketones in question and sequential stability constants of Yb complexes with it are determined. The presence of correlation I2 of Yb complexes with such ligand characteristics as their absorbability, chain length RF and the sum of Rammet σ-constants of substituents is ascertained. 18 refs., 2 figs., 4 tabs
