Construction of CHF table

  • 1. Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Univ. of Ottawa, Ottawa

Description

The construction of CHF table and its application are described in this paper. The CHF table is expressed as a function of P,G and local x and is constructed via a statistical method. The tabular approach is very attractive because it is easy to use and fairly accurate, and it covers the complete range of flow parameters. This prediction method is intended to supplement ad hoc correlations and to provide a reasonable estimate of CHF values outside the flow parameter range of the correlations
