Kinetic description of heavy ion reactions in the strong-coupling limit
Description
Quantum-statistical description of nuclear systems with a prominent global dynamics and strong coupling to intrinsic degrees of freedom (double nuclear system in heavy ion reactions, mother nucleus at the descent stage of fission) is suggested. It is shown that a regime exists in which the adiabatic perturbation theory can be developed. The principal kinetic equation is built including correlations of global motion and intrinsic transitions. The main properties of the equation and relation to traditional approaches are studied
