Radial Sternheimer shielding-antishielding for rare gas atoms

Description

The radial dependence of Sternheimer quadrupole shielding-antishielding factor is reported for He, Ne, Ar and Kr atoms at the coupled Hartree-Fock level of accuracy. The results would be useful in the interpretation of the nuclear quadrupole interactions measured at the rare gas nuclei in different chemical environment such as the various van der Waals molecules.
