Description

V.M. STRUTINSKY's semi-classical method is the most precise to determine the energy of the different states along the fission way. The double-humped fission barrier explains fission isomerism. V.M. STRUTINSKY's barrier explains the ''intermediate structure'' observed in the cross section under the threshold; it provides also the observed effect of ''vibrational resonances'' with an interpretation. Taking an asymmetry parameter in consideration, a triple-humped fission barrier seems to be essential now for the light actinides. There is still a microscopic fission barrier to be explained

La methode semi-classique de V.M. STRUTINSKY est la plus precise pour determiner l'energie des differents etats le long du chemin de fission. La barriere de fission a deux bosses explique l'isomerisme de fission. La barriere de V.M. STRUTINSKY explique la ''structure intermediaire'' observee dans la section efficace aus-dessous du seuil; elle fournit aussi une interpretation a l'effet observe des ''resonances vibrationnelles''. En considerant un parametre d'asymetrie, une barriere de fission a trois bosses semble s'imposer maintenant pour les actinides legers. Il reste a expliquer une barriere de fission microscopique
