Physical aspects
Description
The evolution of the different revisions is presented. The revision 1 is born with the code, it has never been frozen, physical developments were beginning, the systematic qualification didn't exist. The revision 2 has been frozen in 1983, it contained a complete set of mechanical and thermal models: the interfacial friction model was quite well qualified for tube but insufficient for rod bundle geometry; the wall friction model needed improvements for annular flows with entrainment; the wall friction model needed improvements for the C.H.F. correlation and the droplet size correlation. Now with the revision 3 improvements have been obtained. Developments are in progress for the next revision; the most important improvement expected concerns condensation, and, phase separation in Tees
