Description
Iridium oxides films have the fast coloring and bleaching property and excellent stability for electrochromic display devices. For the purpose of establishing a new method for obtaining blue IrOx films which turn transparent in bleaching process. The authors have applied PR method. However, effectiveness of the PR method greatly depended on the chemical structure of sulfatoiridate complex used. This paper discusses how this finding led to a new understanding that for designing excellent EC films control of the fine chemical structure of sulfatoiridate complex as well as film forming processes is important
