Ultraviolet and infrared effects on lattice gauge theories
- 1. Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Pisa (Italy)
- 2. Pisa Univ. (Italy). Ist. di Fisica
Description
High statistics Monte Carlo data using improved action a la Symanzik show an increase of the scaling window towards the strong coupling region, with respect to the standard action. Infrared behavior effects are analyzed; finite size effects show up in a sudden drop in the string tension which is more marked for the improved action. (orig.)
