Description
To clarify the sources and initial uranium content in oil an attempt to evaluate possibilities and degree of its migration with microoil, connection with different structural groups and dependence of uranium content in bituminoid fractions on catagenetic transformation of the organic matter (OM) is made. Clays of the Western-Kuban sag were the subject of the investigation. It is shown that initial uranium is inherited by oil from OM of oil-mother rocks and its initial concentration is determined by uranium content in bituminoid. As applied to the deposits considered, bituminoids similar to oil as to uranium content are found at the depth more than 5000 m
