Calculation and designing accelerator vacuum systems
Description
Construction of the vacuum system of any accelerator is determined by upper permissible pressure limit of resiidual gas in its chamber. Different effects resulting in worsening beam quality are considered. Minimum medium pressures in chambers and other vacuum parameters of the largest accelerators and storage rings are presented
