Determination of jet physical parameters from observations

Creators

  • 1. Bologna Univ. (Italy). Ist. di Fisica

Description

A review of the methods used to determine physical parameters of jets from the observations is presented. The parameters discussed are: internal energy density, density of thermal plasma, flow velocity, external pressure, energetics. Values of these parameters are given for a number of jet sources. The numerous data have been cast in clear tables with references. (Auth.)
