Reactivity oscillations in a point reactor
Description
The analytic solution to a reactivity oscillation problem in the point reactor model is presented. A critical condition for the existence of stationary power oscillations is established. The results for both stationary and non-stationary oscillations allow to get some physical insight on the role of the delayed neutron emission phenomenon in reactor dynamics. (Author)
