CO2 emissions jump more than 10 percent

More than half of the 10% increases in carbon dioxide emission during 1987 was produced by the US, the Soviet Union, and the People's Republic of China. These countries are expected to remain leaders in output for some time. French and West German emissions fell 5% while BJT92in's grew by 2% in 1987.
