Description

The analysis of debris bed heat transfer for the CONACS-1 code by using existing data for both real and simulant materials provides a versatile technique using simple expressions for treating the wide variaty of conditions such as an insulated base, overlying pool at saturation temperature, and boiling rate below that to cause dryout.
