Tetraborate formation in the systems lithium (sodium, potassium) metaborate-trilon B-water

Description
Transformation of MeB(OH)4 monoborates into polyborates in systems lithium (sodium, potassium) metaborate-trilon B-water is confirmed by methods of isothermal solubility and pH-metry. Liotropic effects on borates in occurring multicomponent systems cause edta salt mixtures forming in this case. Tetraborates are shown to precipitate into the solid phase during isothermal evaporation of solutions
