Handling apparatus for treating water contaminated with radioactivity in nuclear power plants
Description
The rule contains specifications to be met in the process engineering and engineering design, construction layout and testing, to avoid uncontrolled discharge of radioactive material and to keep the radioactivity discharged to the minimum possible (sections 46 (1) No. 1 and No. 2 Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchV)) and to ensure compliance with the maximum limits on the discharge of radioactive substances in effluent. Die Regel enthaelt Anforderungen an die verfahrenstechnische und konstruktive Auslegung, bauliche Anordnung und Pruefungen. Damit eine unkontrollierte Ableitung radioaktiver Stoffe vermieden wird und die abgeleitete Aktivitaet so gering wie moeglich ist (Para. 46 (1) Nr. 1 und Nr. 2 StrlSchV) sowie die nach Para. 46 (2) der StrlSchV von der Behoerde festgelegten maximalen Abgaben radioaktiver Stoffe in das Abwasser eingehalten werden (orig.)Additional details
