Description

The theoretical basis for the description of heavy ion collisions at intermediate energies is outlined. Simulations of collisions are shown for TDHF, Vlasov and BUU formulations. Mean field versus nucleon-nucleon effects are considered and applications to one-body observables are discussed. A final section reviews fluctuations and correlations. Material is presented in rough outline form
