CTR plasma engineering studies: Annual progress report, 1 December 1986-30 November 1987
Description
During this year studies have been concluded of alpha instability effects on tandem mirrors and also have nearly completed a major effort on the evaluation of F-θ pumping for RFP reactors. New work has begun on alpha effects, burn control, and ash effects in support of the Tiber project. Each of these subjects is briefly described in the following paper
