Description
The authors have employed γ-ray techniques in order to study the fusion cross sections of the 12C+12C, 12C+16O, 16O+16O and 12C+14N reactions and have been able to show that structure in the fusion cross section is associated with channels in which at least one α particle is emitted in the fusion-evaporation process.
