Ultrasound damping in the ionic conductor Li2B4O7

Description
Results of investigation into ultrasound absorption in Li2B4O7 lithium tetraborate monocrystals (LTB) are presented. Sound absorption is measured by light Bragg diffraction method using ultrasound within 100-800 MHz frequency range and 300-750 K temperature range. Starting from 450 K acoustoinic interaction becomes of longitudinal waves within this temperature range
