On the thermal resistance of heterogeneous ceramics and refractories
Description
The paper studies the behaviour of heterogeneous ceramic materials of aluminium oxide, yttrium oxide and zirconium dioxide under monotonous heating and annealing. The impact of their inelasticity on thermal destruction resistance is analyzed. As regards ZrO2 ceramics, partially stabilized with MgO, it is ascertained that the ceramics become elastic as temperature increases, however, it results in deterioration of ceramics mechanical propterties; decrease of thermal resistance and alternation of thermal destruction process peculiarities
