- 1. Institute of Nuclear and Biological Technologies, Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Urumqi (China)
Description
As we know, using irradiation we can get lots of new rice mutation. It makes the rice Germplasm change larger. And we can get new rice variety which has high quality. This article explains the Yueguang seed treated by 60Co γ-rays irradiation. We get the new variety which has excellent traits. For example, high-quality, high-yield, disease-resistant, early-maturing. Under the experience of breeding Xindao 12, we also discuss the irradiation result, rice choose and next generation breeding.
