Description

The FORTRAN code COAST (COsting And Sizing of Tokamaks) is used to evaluate the costs and performance parameters for D-T burning reactors. The models include mechanical, electrical, thermal, nuclear, chemical and plasma considerations of tokamaks. A point of normalization has been successfully established by applying the code to TFTR.
