Description
Using the complex of electrochemical methods as well as traditional ones processes, occurring on the Bi2O3/Y2O3 interface (1), are studied at 700 and 750 deg C. The processes result in formation of solid electrolytes with different ratio of initial oxides. Unusual behaviour of the system at 700 deg C is detected: external electric field of any direction influences on both the chemism and rate of the processes on interface (1). The effect of field influence on chemism and process rate disappears at temperature higher than the temperature of polymorphic transformation of Bi2O3 (720±10 deg C). Reaction potential difference, spontaneously generating in the course of reaction, is near zero at all temperatures, that correlates with O2--character of conductivity of forming phases. (author)
