Description
This paper reports that in anticipation of the need to perform diving activities during upcoming Unit 2 and 3 spent fuel pool reracking projects at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Southern California Edison has developed and tested nuclear diving equipment which eliminates the potential for exposure of a diver to the beta radiation associated with irradiated fuel fragments
