The failure of piping is of great importance as a hypothetical incident in nuclear power plants. The theories so far put forth on the bending failure of piping disregard the effect of the internal pressure. This effect is studied and evaluated numerically by way of an example. (orig.)

Das Versagen von Rohrleitungen spielt als hypothetischer Stoerfall in Kernkraftwerken eine grosse Rolle. Bisher aufgestellte Theorien zum Biegeversagen von Rohrleitungen lassen den Einfluss des Innendruckes unberuecksichtigt.
