Comparative study of computed tomography (CT) and carotid angiography (CAG) in stroke patients
Description
The findings in CT and in CAG were compared in 173 stroke patients to evaluate dependability in the localization of cerebral occlusion and of infarction by CT, and to test the reliability of the angiographic and clinical diagnosis of a space-occupying lesion in patients diagnosed clinically as stroke cases. Die CT- und CAG-Befunde von 173 Schlaganfall-Patienten wurden verglichen, um die Zuverlaessigkeit von CT bei der Lokalisierung des zerebralen Arterienverschlusses und die Sicherheit der angiographischen und klinischen Diagnose raumfordernder Schaeden bei Patienten mit diagnostiziertem Schlaganfall zu ueberpruefen.
