Water radiolysis in the presence of oxides
Description
Kinetic studies of water radiolysis in the presence of oxide systems revealed that the exposure of an oxide + adsorbed H2O system to γ-radiation results in energy transfer from oxide-adsorbed γ-quanta to water molecules. It was found that the energy transfer processes are very sensitive to radiolysis temperature and electrophysical properties and composition of the oxides. (author)
