A Gamma-ray spectrometer system for low energy photons by coupling two detectors
Description
The study performed to obtain a composited (summa) spectrum from a Low Energy Gamma Spectrometry System by coupling two planar Germanium detectors is described. This disposition allows to obtain a high counting efficiency for the total system. It shows the improvement achieved by the synthetic spectrum which is obtained by adding the two original spectra through the ''LULEPS'' code. This code corrects the differences (channel/energy) between both two spectra before performing the addition. (author). 6 refs., 3 figs
