A clinical implementation for 3-D diagnostic imaging using volumetric CT

Description
Twenty-two of sixty patients, who were examined by the three dimensions (3D) volumetric CT scanner and subsequently conducted to reconstructing images, were summarized in this preliminary report. In all cases, it was possible not only to evaluate abnormal findings on the 3D images, but easily to grasp anatomical relationship between the target organ and the others. 3D volumetric CT might be an indispensable diagnostic modality for surgeons, interventionists and radiotherapists in the coming decade.
