Thermoelectric properties of Bi2Te3-Bi2Se3 system alloys in 100-600 K temperature range
Description
Thermoelectric property measurements are continued towards lower temperatures (100-300 K) for the Bisub(2)Tesub(2.88)Sesub(0.12) alloy and higher temperatures (300-600 K) for the Bisub(2)Tesub(2.4)Sesub(0.6) alloy. It is shown that in the 100-450 K range the Bisub(2)Tesub(3-x)Sesub(x) (x=0.12; 0.6), prepared from the melt with Te excess have a higher thermoelectric efficiency coefficient than the alloys crystallizing from the melt without Te excess mainly due to thermal conductivity decrease. The best reproducibility of properties is observed using Te excess alloys
