Phase equilibrium in systems of tetrafluoroborate and sodium halogenides
Description
The methods of differential thermal visual polythermal and thermogravimetric analyses have been used for studying the double eutectic system of NaCl-NaBF4 and the ternary system consisting of sodium tetrafluoroborate, sodium fluoride, sodium chloride and having one eutectic point. Eutectics of the double system melts at 330 deg C and has a composition of 7% NaCl and 93% NaBF4. The ternary eutectic composition comprises 86.5% NaBF4, 2%NaCl, and 11.5% NaF and melts at 290 deg C
