Laser isotope separation using an intracavity absorption technique

Description
Selective adsorption of I 37Cl by a broad band dye laser is obtained by placing a cell containing I 35Cl in the cavity of the laser in order to create ''holes'' at the absorption frequencies of I 35Cl in the laser output. It is shown that this method can be used to obtain highly efficient photochemical isotope separation
