Description
We introduce light vector and axial vector mesons as gauge particles in a (broken) local SUL(3)xSUR(3) symmetry. We also introduce a heavy axial vector meson and the interactions that combine chiral and heavy quark symmetries. Defining the weak current with appropriate chiral transformation properties we calculate the form factors in D→K, D→K*, and D→K1A transitions. The results are in agreement with data, wherever data are available
