Hyperon-nucleon strong interactions
Description
Discussions occuring during this session are summarized. Topics addressed include: hyperon-nucleon interactions below a momentum of 450 MeV/c, time separated beams and the proton-antiproton to hyperon-antihyperon reaction, Xi and omega scattering experiments, antihyperon-proton scattering, hypernuclear spectroscopy, and uses of polarized beams and targets. The need for quality low momentum data was emphasized
