Monitor for the control of the concentration of gadolinium in make-up-solutions of the Purex-process

Description

Basic investigations for an in-line-instrument working on the principle of the energy disperse X-ray-fluorescence analysis are described. With this simple installation a concentration of Gd of 5 g/l (+-0,1 g/l) can be continuously analysed in make-up solutions of the Purex process. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es werden orientierende Untersuchungen mit einer auf dem Prinzip der energiedispersiven Roentgenfluoreszenzanalyse beruhenden Messanordnung beschrieben. Mit einfachen Mitteln kann eine Gd-Konzentration von 5 g/l auf +-0,1 g/l genau in Make-up-Loesungen des Purex-Prozesses kontinuierlich bestimmt werden. (orig.)
