Recording of bremsstrahlung pulse fluxes with 70 MeV boundary energy by gas-discharge transducers

Description

Formation of latent image by recording bremmstrahlung with boundary energy of 70 MeV in gas-discharge transducer was studied by radiation transfer static modelling. Dependences of changing particle numbers on the transducer depth and radial density distributions of absorbed energy in the gas gap are obtained. Influence of transducer structural on its proper blurriness and energy absorbed in gas is investigated. It is shown that influence of the front electrode thickness and gas gap value is the freatest. The transducer proper blurrness, which was experimentally determined, is in fair agreement with calculation results
