Peculiarities in heat treatment of the 10GN2MFA electroslag remelted steel
Description
Studied is the effect of preliminary heat treatment on the properties of the 10GN2MFA steel of different levels of chemical composition within the quality limits. It is established that in the case of carrying out normalization as a final heat treatment, the form of preliminary heat treatment does not influence the complex of mechanical properties of the steel. Preliminary high tempering results in a decrease of strength properties and in an increase of plasticity properties in the case when tempering is used as a final treatment. Presented are table data on mechanical properties of the steel after various heat treatment
