Description

On the basis of analysis of experimental data on the vector analyzing power of the nuclear reactions 2H(d,p)3H and 2H(d,n)3He and data on the total cross sections for these reactions at energies from 13 to 485 keV we have separated the total cross sections into partial cross sections for s and p waves and have calculated the total cross sections for very low energies down to 0.3 keV. For these same reactions we have calculated the intensities of production of energetic products in a heated deuterium plasma. A formula for practical calculations of this intensity is obtained
