Considerations concerning the influence of magnetic field on calibration of thermometers for low and very low temperature measurements

Description
Based on the influence of the magnetic fields on the resistivity of the thermometers used in low and very low temperature measurements some aspects of the traceability of the calibration of these thermometers are investigated. Results are given for resistance thermometers of platinum, carbon, thermistors, germanium, silicon and gallium arsenide for the temperature ranges (13K-273K), (0.02K- 100K), (4K-273K), (0.05-100K), (1K-400K) and (1K-273K), respectively as well as for thermoelectric thermometers with copper-constantan thermocouple and gold-iron (chromium) thermocouple for the temperature ranges (10K-273K) and (91K-273K), respectively
