Search for far transuranic elements in galactic comic rays
Description
Experimental results on the search for the tracks of far transuranic elements of the galactic origin in olivine crystals from Marjalahti meteorite are presented. A total af 174 mm3 of olivines taken from the surface layers of the meteorite and 60 mm3 taken from its inner parts have been examined. The upper limit of the abundance of the Z >= 110 nuclei has been established to be <=4x10-9 of the abundance of the Fe group nuclei. (orig.)

Es werden experimentelle Ergebnisse ueber die Suche von Spuren superschwerer Transuranium-Elemente galaktischen Ursprungs in Olivinkristallen des Marjalahti-Meteoriten vorgelegt. Insgesamt 174 mm3 Olivin von der Oberflaeche des Meteoriten und 60 mm3 aus dem inneren Bereich wurden naeher untersucht. Eine obere Grenze von <= 4 x 10-9 fuer die Haeufigkeit von Elementen mit Z >= 110 wurde relativ zur Eisengruppe festgestellt. (orig.)
