DIXYBAR

Description

DIXYBAR is a FORTRAN IV programmed code for bidimensional neutronic problems using the multigroup diffusion theory. The code is programmed with variable dimensioning which means a dinamic memory use. The code is able to solve problems in any configuration which can be divided in homogeneous rectangular regions accepting any irregular boundary and the establishment of internal parts to be excluded from calculation area. Boundary conditions are implemented in form of albedo matrix giving the posibility of a general interaction description with the external system. The user can introduce a different albedo matrix for each part of boundary. Buckling can be given as a constant value with dependence on energy group or with dependence on group and material. Also fission spectra can be constant or dependent on material. Anisotropic diffusion constants can be included. Output can show information about interation process and solution can be described with any energy condensation or region homogenization as required. A short calculation time is one of the advantages of DIXYBAR. (M.E.L.)

Abstract (Spanish)
