Possible non-Fermi-liquid behavior of CaRuO3

Description
We measured the resistivity (ρ) and magnetoresistance (Δρ/ρ) of the metallic pseudocubic perovskite CaRuO3. At high temperatures, ρ=a+bT0.5 and Δρ/ρ is negative. At low temperatures, ρ=a+bT1.5 and Δρ/ρ changes sign as a function of the applied magnetic field. Both at high temperatures and at low temperatures, ρ deviates strongly from the resistivity of Fermi-liquid metals; we therefore discuss the possibility that CaRuO3 is a non-Fermi-liquid metal. copyright 1999 The American Physical Society
