Possibilities of updating Pu fast neutron cross sections with a theoretical analysis

Description
The neutron fission cross sections for 238Pu - 244Pu are theoretically analysed in order to estimate the [n1xn] -reaction cross sections. The main features of the model employed in the analysis are briefly described, and the results are compared with data reported by other workers. The paper was presented at the International Conference on 'Nuclear data for basic and applied science' N. Mexico, 1985. (UK)
