Fuel cladding fabrication

Description

The advantages and prospects of fast breeder reactors are briefly described. The requirements put on the material of fuel cladding tubes are formulated. The geometrical requirements are given in the cited standard. The technologies of the manufacture of these tubes are described as are the chemical analysis of the steel used and the tests and classification of finished products. (F.M.)
