Description

The production properties of Intermediate Vector Bosons produced at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) Collider are described. The longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions, and the properties of the hadronic jet activity produced in association with the Intermediate Vector Bosons, are in good agreement with the expectations of perturbative QCD. Preliminary results are presented on the production properties of W/sup +-/ and Z0 bosons produced in pp-bar collisions. The W longitudinal momentum distribution is in agreement with our naive expectations for Drell-Yan production of the W's, and the jet activity observed in association with the W's is in good agreement with perturbative QCD. The corresponding properties for Z0 production are consistent with those of the W/sup +-/. Finally, there is no evidence for a state which subsequently decays into a W and one or more hadronic jets
