Modulation of cosmic rays in interplanetary space and solar activity

Description

Data are investigated on the variation of the anisotropy vector of cosmic rays (CR) and variations of the interplanetary magnetic field. Parameters are presented of the interplanetary medium calculated on the basis of data of several days in August 1972. A relationship is established between solar activity and modulation of CR by comparing the time series of a helio-latitude solar index HL and intensity of CR of various energies. It is shown that the variations of CR correlate well with the measurements of the HL-index
