Symmetries of axial gauge pole prescriptions

Description
We investigate various pole prescriptions for the 1/qn singularity in axial and light-cone gauges according to their symmetry content. To go beyond the principal value technique it is natural to generalize the Leibbrandt-Mandelstam prescription, which is less symmetric, but in a sense more regular. We analyse the analytical properties of the corresponding one-loop Feynman integrals. (orig.)
