Technique of search and reconstruction of neutrino interactions in the photoemulsion vertex detector of the spectrometer SKIF

Description

Reconstruction algorithm of neutrino interaction vertex in nuclear photoemission used as a detector target in SKIF hybrid spectrometer with a streamer chamber as a track detector, is described. The study on the device showed that the streamer chamber provides for measuring pulses with accuracy of 7% and track inclination angles in horizontal and vertical planes of streamer chambers with accuracy of 17 mrad and 20 mrad correspondingly. Under these conditions the algorithm described provides for the vertex localization with accuracy of 700 μm, 1200 μm and 1700 μm for y, z and x coordinates correspondingly.
