One-dimensional Mn ordering in Mn-YBCO ceramics: model and experiments

Description
We present a theoretical model based on the method of static concentration waves (SCW), which allows to determine the symmetry of the most stable superstructures. It is shown from model, that the doped YBaCuO -compound material can be regarded as long-range ordered stable superstructures of doping atoms substituting the host atoms in the Cu-O chains. We discuss experimental results obtained by EPR and resistance versus temperature measurements of Mn-YBaCuO compounds which can be interpreted in the framework of this model
